Island Aesthetics MV offers 2 hair regeneration treatments, one utilizes a laser while the other involves using your own plasma that is injected into your scalp.
KeraLase
KeraLase™ is an advanced non-ablative laser treatment that utilizes potent KeraFactorMD growth-factor serum to stimulate your scalp’s growth potential. The laser creates microchannels in the scalp which dramatically amplifies the absorption of the serum by 5 to 7 times. KeraLase rejuvenates & revitalizes your scalp to support healthier hair and improve hair quality. A series of 6 treatments is recommended, 4-6 weeks apart. The cost of the series is $3600 which includes home care products designed to enhance your treatment.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
PRF uses your own blood to harvest growth factors that are then injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth. PRF therapy has been clinically proven to be effective in reversing both male and female pattern hair loss and baldness (androgenic alopecia). PRF can also treat thinning hair resulting from iron deficiency, metabolic causes, telogen effluvium and medication. A series of 4 treatments every 4 weeks is recommended at a cost of $2500. Additional treatments are $500 each.
Benefits of Keralase and PRF Injections
Both Keralase & PRF injections are successful in stimulating hair regrowth, leading to increased volume, thickness, & strength. Both treatments can show results in as little as 2-3 months and results can last up to a year or more. Although Keralase is a bit more expensive, the duration of treatment is shorter & the treatment is more comfortable.
